Long Train Runnin’

It’s shaped the state in fascinating ways—sparking growth, changing the economic landscape and allowing new people from distant places to come to North Carolina. The NC Railroad Company is the state’s oldest corporation, its original engine for economic development and is a vital link for the state both today and in the future. It was a good idea 155 years ago, now it’s an irreplaceable asset.

From 10am until 12 noon at Company Shops Station, Burlington, North Carolina

Light refreshments, holiday music, the Operation Lifesaver Train and a special appearance by Mr. S. Claus.
